I have African Aquatic frogs as well. I have them in a 3 gallon tank with a couple of golden guppies. One is names "Franken", and the other "Stein". They've got quite the personality.

You might here them "sing", late in the evening. You have to listen very carefully though. It sounds like "zzzzz.....zzzzzz...zzzzzz". Hard to put in words. The call is very quiet.

Enjoy!!

That is awesome!  The greenest one has to be Peter.  Just fits! Next time your kids gets in trouble, let him off the hook and tell him it was from me.  That kid is destined for greatness in the eyes of many now!

What do you feed them? I'm hoping to eventually put a pond in my garden so I can encourage western leopard toads to breed in my yard. They're highly endangered. Do your frogs call at all?

What sort of frogs? This is cool. It's not legal to keep reptiles as pets in my region. Snakes at a stretch if you know the right people for permits but certainly nothing else like an amphibian.
