Ok so it's 1985 and I am 7 years old and just fascinated with everything to do with slasher flicks but my mom would not let me watch them, I used to see previews of the newest Friday the 13th films and Halloween films and it just peeked my interest right away, the masks, the suits and the weapons they used, especially "Freddy's" glove (fkn cool)...So I was at my babysitters house one night and she asked me what kinda movie I wanted to watch, her being an Elvis fan we watched Elvis movies all the time.. so I said Return of The Living Dead and she looked at me and smiled and saif "are you serious" I said "Yea I am a big Boy I can handle it" so we watched . it was my first horror flick and my first zombie one at that, from then on I was hooked, I shit my pants for the first 20 mins of the movie but I couldn't look away, I thought oh man if this were real I would make the coolest shit and kill those zombies.... Ok now speeding up 20 years Resident Evil comes out and once again I get back into the zombie flicks, all the years in between there were some good movies with the Halloween saga and the F13 movies, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and so on, but then a show comes out that just blows what we have all seen out of the water "The Walking Dead". Not only is it it a Zombie thing but it taps into the human instinct to survive such an apocalyptic event.... Now season 2 is coming out and I am Pumped, I hope APHND can find a way to get their music in there, I did do a few clips of APHND to The Walking Dead show, if you haven't seen them just let me know and I will post it again...

I liked Zombie's version, but no where near as good as the original. I agree that Zombie took us back to the beginnings of Myers.

I think Rob Zombie did an amazing job in the respect that he took us back to the beginning

I'm a huge fan of NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET-saga, my very favourite episode is the fourth one - The Dream Master. Love the song "I Want Your Hand On Me " from Sinead O'Connor from that movie, the whole episode is so cool! I'd prefer Freddy much more, than Jason or Michael Myers. Until today I remember when I watched for the very first time EVIL DEAD when I was about 16... Yeah, that was definitely something new :) But the scariest moment was for me, when me and my present wife, and then a girlfriend, when for holiday at the seaside and went for a movie BLAIR WITCH PROJECT... For all the time I was sure it's just the beginning of the film and in a while it will start "filmed by the regular camera"... Unfortunately until the end it didn't, when we were going back to the hotel in the middle of the night, we were walking through a small wood there was there... SCAAAAAAAARY !!! :)

I remember seeing a few movies that scared the hell out of me when I was a kid.

One of them was the Blair Witch Project. I was like 13 when that movie came out but it still scared the hell out of me. The told everyone when that movie was released that the footage was REAL.

So I got chills when I heard a tongueless Josh screaming "HELP!!!!!!" from the darkness of the woods.

Not only was I scared enough to not sleep that night but it sparked my curiosity as well, since I was 13, and believed every word. I thought there really was a witch and tried to get my older brothers to drive me to Maryland. Of course that never happened.

Another couple of movies that scared the hell out of me when I was real young were Night of the Living Dead and The Amityville Horror.

Another thing, when I was a teen, it was like the renaissance of home video gaming. Like when it started getting really good. I remember a friend and I throwing in money to get the video game Resident Evil 2 (which was the SHIT back then). He had the PlayStation so I had to go over there to play it.

I still remember hauling ass home at night after hanging out there and playing Resident Evil.
