So I have a Uniform hat that Peter gave me.

2 weeks ago my parents come over and my dad had some of my stuff I left in their house 20 years ago, among these items was this dark green uniform hat with a brown bill. It suddenly all came back to me that this was a hat that Peter Steele gave to me over 20 years ago, it was his formal NYC Parks department hat with NYC buttons on either side. A coincidence that I happened to be looking around online for a uniform hat to wear on stage for my APHND outfit and all of a sudden this hat shows up which my dad had no idea what a monumental object he brought me, as if Peter had given it to me all over again and I knew this was a sign and this is the hat I should wear.

Yep, a sure sign all right.. I am quite positive (negatively of course..) that he's watching down on you and is proud of your accomplishment. The album and the family.. Pff, 20 years ago. Absolution.........we are old. But at least we still have enough power to kick & scream when we need to.

wow. that is so cool, sal. just be careful wearing it on stage as people now know who and where it came from. i bet this lil momentum gave you all kinds of warm fuzzies and a lil sadness at the same time. as i was reading this i got covered in goosebumps & even a lil teary eyed. lil findings like this after so many years just goes to show that Pete is your true brutha. i cant imagine just how much you miss him. thanks for sharing this story. simply heart warming. much love to you and yours my friend. peace.

Hey Sal, i have yet to purchase the cd but from what i have heard it sounds amazing and i will be picking it up very soon. You have to play in Toronto or even Buffalo at the Townball Room. You are the only guy that i have not met from Type O and it would be awesome to say hey to you. Peter Steele was a really cool person and i am very thankful that i was able to meet him and talk to him even if it was for a few minutes. I cant wait to see your new project on the road.
