"I want to 'thank' you like an animal"

So Trent Reznor won an Oscar last night.  I'm not sure how many more movie fanatics are on here, but I was shocked.  First off, I guess I didn't pay close enough attention to notice that he did the score to the Social Network, but the dude actually won!  Odd times.  Good for him I guess.

Me and my friend (who is a die-hard NIN fan and HUGE movie buff like myself) were talking about it the other night after the awards.  We were talking about all the songs he can go back and remix with new lyrics now that he has won.  Here's a few:

Now that's good...I like the off-shot stills people and Newspapers take and use of folks.

He looks like a Carny with those smallish looking hands (smells like cabbage) and beady eyes in this pic.

I really dig his work and had no idea he did anything for that flick...the HTDA project is pretty cool, too.

Yeah, their other band is pretty bad ass, actually.  How To Destroy Angels. They have a video for the song "The Space In Between" that is pretty cool.  The song is not half bad either.

And apparently the band he has with his wife is worth looking at... I just haven't had a chance because I've been doing a metal retrospective right now. Downward Spiral saw me through some pretty dark patches when I was a teen.

The thing that gets me is, if you have seen the Social Network, the score wasn't really that amazing.  It reminded me of that movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshal".  Just a bunch of dark, ominous tones.  But, what do it know?

Heh! I had such a crush on him when I was 15. That was until I discovered Pete Steele, that is. Oh, and Brandon Lee... Lah-lah-lah-lah. At least it wasn't Christopher Lambert anymore... Eishta!
